A railroad rarely thought about or railfanned but full of action in its time if those old rusty rails could talk who knows what they might tell imagin standing here and watching either Southern Steam Locos tackle this incredible grade or watching the Belmont coal train barely inch down or C40-9W's give all they have just to pull a few woodchip cars uphill it's strange how little was photographed or videotaped on this historic railroad but there will always be a special place in my heart for the W-Line. |
