| Description: |
After being passed by Amtrak at Smithton, UP Train WSLAMZ 17 rolls through Sedalia. This train started out as the WIMAMZ 16 with a destination of East Ames, IA. It was annulled and sat for 02 hours at St. Louis and resymboled the WSLAMZ 17, with a destination of East Ames again. That destination was then extended to Cedar Rapids, IA. It went “around the world” in Kansas Citx (looped completely around down via the KCT) and ran north up the Spine Line to Des Moines. A route map of this thing would look obnoxious considering they could have sent it up through Illinois. |
