Description:  Were under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning right now as a storm rips through Poplar Bluff. The train came in at 12:55 A.M. this morning, 7 minutes early with a rare 2 unit consist! He we see those Genesis units and Superliners getting an unscheduled washing stop.

Description:  Wow, UP is actually going to run a northbound grain train up the De Soto Sub. I got up close and personal with this train, when the train came around the curve I walked towards the yellow line, when I looked at the train again I thought, "Oh shit, I'd better back up, he's on Main Track 1 and going up the De Soto!" The engineer honked twice and the crew waved, because we still do that here.

Title:  Northbound Intermodal With 3 SD40 Family Locomotives
Description:  Here's an Alstom Rebuild leading UP Train ZLDYC 16. I crossed paths with the 6026 on 12-5-04 in a cold rain storm about a quarter mile south of here. This engine was destroyed on 11-24-05 at Momence, IL at Pence Interlocking when a southbound UP Train and an eastbound NS Train collided. Nobdody was killed, but UP 1385, UP 1485, UP 1800, and UP 2658 from the UP Train were scrapped on site, as well as NS 9443 and CN 6026, and a Guilford Unit, MEC 375, the engines from the NS Train. Description:  This is the northbound, the crew always waved big at me and honked at me here, it made up a little bit of time and we were late getting into town, I have the first know photo of this unit since it got it's Bolt-O-Nose nose job at Boise and new paint after rebuilding, this was my first bolt-o-nose unit. The train arrived into Poplar Bluff at 7:08 A.M., 3 hours and 59 minutes late. READ THE COMMENT I LEFT BELOW!!!
