Description:  The sage advice of the sign to the right was ignored by the SUV on the left during the wait at the stoplight at Broadway and Civic Center. How do those fools survive ... Grade crossing here is the ex-CNW Winona to Rapid City line, crossing in distance is former Chicago Great Western trackage reduced to a spur to the south side thanks to not even nearby Stewartville being served by old CGW rails anymore.

Description:  Sign on the left works only in theory along the CP/DM&E in Rochester; I once "trespassed" alot here during an extended stay in town back in 2001. We are looking east towards the yard office (out of view in the right background), support building, and MOW vehicles are parked. Track curling off to the right is ex-CGW which once went all the way into Iowa but now only goes to the south side of town.
