Looking south for a train that will never come. |
| Description: |
This is another abandoned town on the Danbury Sub, and there were just a few houses and the abandoned railroad. This is the south siding switch, looking south and Danbury, WI is about 5 miles ahead. This line sported MSP to Duluth passenger trains 62 and 63 until May, 1961 and the tracks were removed in the fall of 1987. |

Section Shanty |
| Description: |
Another shot at Markville, now looking north and you can see the passing siding. There was an unusual track arrangement where another track headed off the siding to the main and you can see the switch branching off at the turnout of the siding. |
