While I was killing time before class, my brother let me borrow his laptop so I could check the ATCS to see if the Withrow Sub was lined yet for L517. Sure enough, there was a route, and based on where it was, I had little time to get it. After heading over to Lexington Ave, I climbed up a snow drift where I fired off this shot of L517 coming around the curve with CN 2302 leading the way. |

This was a nice thing to catch between classes at Bethel. A neat looking lashup rolls by with an empty Dresser Turn bound for Dresser WI. Clouds don't keep me in; you never know what the CP will have on trains these days. While an all blue and yellow lashup would have been really neat, I kinda like the former BN SD40-2 in there. At any rate, this guy sounded really nice as he came by with all the SD40-2s online. |

I just leaving Target off of Lexington Ave when I texted Mike where the Dresser Turn was at. I got a reply saying he was at Cardigan, so I knew I didn't have long. I drove over to where the an abandoned hotel was and took advantage of the storm lighting. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Next time there are matching blue and golds, I have to shoot them coming past Bethel University, only fitting since I graduated from there and blue and gold are the University's colors. |
