Description:  If I've followed the media tea leaves correctly this yard is already or is about to be taken out of service. Easterly traffic in and out of New England will move onto Central Maine & Quebec (former MMA/BAR) at Northern Maine Jct in Hermon for interchange onto the EMRY at Brownville Jct. This change in part due to the closure of a paper mill at Great Works and the pending closure of Verso at Bucksport this December. /DL

Most PAR traffic is interchanged with CMQ at Northern Maine Jct these days. The rails look well used on the EMRY side of the yard and the PAR side much less so. PAR has a few ballast hoppers in the yard. This set of photographs was taken about 2pm. Later, around 5 or 6 PM, the NBSR easterly run out of Brownville Jct will move thru here follwed later by a west bound with a late night delivery to CMQ at Brownville. /DL
