With the temp already hitting the mid 90's and a fully running a/c, my other lenses kept fogging up internally so I had to turn to the 100x400 which gave me no problems but was a bit overkill and forced tighter shooting but it didn't slow me down none and gave me a chance to be a bit creative. |

Before a large swath of storms would strike the area and wreak havoc later this day, NS 130 heads through Vance, AL under deceptively blue skies. NS has retired these former show ponies and venerable work horse for rebuilding in the SD70ACC program though NS 2556-2580 were put up for sale outright in January 2020. 2545 is seen passing one of more subtle landmarks to be found in Vance aside from the large intimidating Mercedes Benz plant. I decided to work this local lumber mills sign in on an otherwise random image. My other lenses kept fogging up internally but the 100x400 gave me no problems other than it was mostly over kill for the images I was taking but a lens is better than none at all. |
