While on my way up to Quivira NWR, I drove through Pratt, something I had done many times before, but either on K 61 or US 54/400. I had not, til now, come up US 281 from Oklahoma. I had always thought of Pratt as a Rock Island town, which it is. I had no idea there was a Santa Fe station there, too. The building is in good shape, and is currently occupied by a couple of non rail businesses. The track, on the other hand, looks like its not see action in quite some time. Were looking east in this view. |
