Somewhere beyond the pretty flowers is a train.

Description:  its a real chore to photograph sunflowers and trains and have them come out right. this is my best work yet. flowers do best when they're at track level or higher but most places the tracks are higher putting the flowers away from the trains and the viewfinder. Plus in Lyon Co its harder as there is a sunflower shortage because of spraying, mowing, planting, etc. but this is chase co here in this photo.

Description:  Yes its us foamers at the tracks. This very field a few weeks ago i video'd a dust devil coming straight at me and i walked into the vortex!!!! WOW!!! It was big and my first time with one up close. On the way back from CO in '03 i saw many all over the place while driving on I-70.
