Description:  We moved onto Kokomo and by total suprise, ITM had their Polar Bear Express Train out on the mainline. Recently, the Indiana Transportation Museum relocated from Noblesville to Logansport after the town of Noblesville kicked them out. Equipment will soon start slowly moving to Logansport. But for the meantime, for the Christmas Season, Iowa Pacific has leased SLRG 101 (ex-IC 101) to ITM to use on their Polar Bear Express train between Kokomo and Logansport. The train will run next week then it will be done for the season after running for most of the weekends in December. I was wanting to catch it after not being able to get down to see it any of the weekends it was doing trips. The only reason it is out on the mainline now is because a grain train must have arrived from NS today to Kokomo Grain where the train was being kept while it was not running. Pretty neat to see it!

Description:  One final shot of The Polar Bear Express before going to The Train Exchange to get Ethans engine. We would close the evening out with this final train. Aunt Susie and I would stay in the Holiday Inn in Logansport then pick up Nick and Ethan early the next morning heading to Ossian. Nine trains recorded today. Not too good, not too bad, but some nice catches. Hope for the same tomorrow!
