Description:  Chicago & Illinois Midland Railway RS1325 31 at Springfield, Illinois on October 6, 1980, Kodachrome by Joseph R. Quinn, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 31 was one of only two RS1325 locomotives built. Numbers 30 ( c/n 25773 ) and 31 ( c/n 25774 ) were built in September 1960. Both survived for a while in the Illinois & Midland ( a Gennessee & Wyoming company that took over the C&IM ), but it appears that at least one has moved on the the Atlantic & Western.
