Description:  Heard over the scanner that a Metra switcher had gone to Manhattan for some reason. Because this was the first time a switcher had been on this line south of 179th Street in at least 8 years, I came to the Regan Road crossing to see it. However, the switcher ended up having to wait near Laraway Road for an outbound commuter train to pass. Since I had to leave before the switcher got back, the only picture I took was this one showing the green signal for the commuter train #815.
