CB&Q 2-10-4 Class M-4-A 6320
Title:  CB&Q 2-10-4 Class M-4-A 6320
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-10-4 Class M-4-A 6320 on May 5, 1954, location and photographer unknown, print by Gordon C. Bassett, Chuck Zeiler collection. The builders plate was legible, and displays the number 60291. Lacking any geographic features, I can only guess the location to be Galesburg, Illinois.

CBQ 0-6-0 #308 - Chicago, Burlington & Quincy
Title:  CBQ 0-6-0 #308 - Chicago, Burlington & Quincy
Description:  At first glance at this original slide, the locomotive number appears to be #30 but upon closer examination, there is either the number "6" or "8" hidden in the shadow. After conversing with Chuck Zeiler, it has several features of #308. Unfortunately no information came with this slide so the date and location are approximations. If anyone can help confirm this, it would be appreciated.

CBQ 125A
Title:  CBQ 125A
Description:  An A-B-B-A set of F3 diesels gets road grime washed off in Galesburg, Illinois, on a sunny October 1959 day. F3A 125-A must have been the trailing unit of the set, as the engines coupler cover is still open (and lead unit 117-A had its coupler cover closed). Burlingtons freight F-units wore this simple, yet attractive, light gray scheme, while the passenger Fs were painted silver. (Frank "Woody" Woodburn photo, Craig Walker collection)
