Description:  Nice photo taken from an original negative by an unknown photographer of the GP30 EMD unit bullt in November of 1962. It became NW #2901 after the merger. Date is approximate and no location was listed for the photo but with Mike Woodruff's help (see comment below), this might be Creve Coeur, IL.

Description:  Built by Alco in January of 1959, this RS-11 unit is now showing its age just months before being renumbered to NW 2858 after the merger. It looks like a Peoria & Pekin Union Rwy switcher sits behind the NKP unit with sister NKP 860 to the right.
