A CN SD70M-2 is a rarity around here and I was lucky enough to photograph one on the NS at 10:34am on a crystal clear spring day. I wanted to go further with it but I was up past my bed time. I was working night shift at my job at US Steel and had to be back to work on duty at 10pm the same night so again USSR taketh away. But glad I got what I got. |

Actually the IC didnt have track within 50 miles, but they had trackage rights over the Southern from Haleyville to Jasper and the Frisco from Jasper to Birmingham. The City of Miami and Seminole made a stop here. So, the depot sign listed both the Frisco and IC. |
