Title:  Great Walton's Social Circle Branch
Description:  Looking much like something a small child would put together on a amuture model railroad, this former Conrail GP35 has long since lost it's roll as a leading star in Operation Lifesaver films. The unit rest on old SW type frames in Great Walton RR's dead line at Social Circle Ga. many have said that this unit no longer carries a prime mover, but those statements are wrong. After looking over the unit to see what remained of it, it daos still carry it's 567 series prime mover and much of it's original guts... Kept for wieght. No one seems to know what this units future is.

Description:  This geep has been through alot, but this might be its final resting spot. After a career on IC and G&O, it was sandblasted down for repainting but the order must have fallen through as its now in the deadline in Monroe, probably to be used as a parts source.

Description:  In the last light of day, the Great Walton's turn nears home base in Social Circle with two GP9's up front, and a SW8, a GP10 and a GP9 at the back of the train. This is a rare site as trains generally have to shove back from Monroe due to there not being a run around track in Social Circle. The train would stop just south of here, and this would be our last shot of a great, if bittersweet day of railfanning the Great Walton
