The Union City turn job A727 heads back north at 12:30 with 33 cars for Tilford yard. The CSXT 2514 and CSXT 1024 is a rare sight on any sort of road assighnment, even this job. The 2514 is once again mated up with a yard mate which were rebuilt from GP9s by Chessie System during 1985 in the Hunington WV shops. It would have been nice if he had made his return trip back north an hour later or so. This is the only location where one can even think of shooting a north bound this time of year on the Manchester Sub between Manchester and Atlanta. |
