What could be better? A rare at-speed pass with a UP stack train on the west track and a BNSF coal train on the east track. On the west, I had a still camera to catch this southbound train. On the east track, a video camera was all set to catch the oncoming northbound train as it met the lead locomotive of the southbound at almost this very spot! But alas, it was not meant to be. My elation turns to disappointment as, after the two train pass, I find that the video camera ran out of tape just as the BNSF train rounded the curve to the south! |
