Description:  Garner Road grade crossing. CN Train 422 rounds the bend at the top of the Niagara Escarpment, about to descend the steep grade down to the Welland Canal, St. Catharines, and beyond. Lucky for me, the train was on the north track, which is generally used by GO Transit and AMTRAK passenger trains - the north track for CN freight.

Description:  After getting screened in customs, I was able to photograph the westbound Maple Leaf at Niagara Falls Station. Wait a minute, between Niagara Falls, ON and Toronto, ON, even though the Maple Leaf is still using Amtrak equipment, it is being operated by a VIA Rail crew. This is now VIA Rail Train # 98.
