A recently rebuilt and (I believe) recently acquired Trackmobile parked on former SOO rails at Fox Valley Alfalfa Mill at Hilbert Junction on 22 Mar. '14. Not too long ago they utilized a large front end loader to move covered hoppers around. The actual junction is about 400 feet to the northwest. |

Having passed through Saint Paul Switch and crossed Highway 32, a CN turn is entering Hilbert via Hilbert Jsnction. Hilbert Junction is where the old Milwaukee Road branched off to get to Menasha and the Fox Cities from its line that went to Ontonagon, Michigan, from Milwaukee. The Soo Line had rights over the Milwaukee from Menasha to Hilbert Junction where it th`n continued on it's own rails to Manitowoc. These lines are now all owned by the CN. |
