Description:  As an eastbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight (H-BASI1-26) passes through Daggett, in California's Mojave Desert, a platoon of Marines from nearby Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow marches by. The BNSF was not even a year old yet, and most engines had yet to get renumbered, let alone repainted. On the point of this train is Burlington Northern SD40-2 8151, which was never renumbered as a BNSF engine before being sold off to Helm Leasing (as their HLCX 8151).
