ITSX 3454 SW1500 enjoys the afternoon off at the Haslet automotive distribution facility. Built in October 1967 for Great Northern as GN 208 SW1500 later becoming BN 208 then BNSF 3454 until retirement in September 1999. Now owned by Helm this switcher was leased it to ITS Technologies and Logistics as ITSX 3454. Initially this switcher was given ITSL reporting marks then later changed to ITSX as evidenced by the slanted 'X'. Note the oil stained hood, a sign of an ongoing mechanical issue with the prime mover. |

In-Terminal Services (ITSX) SD40-2T 2864 was parked at the ITSX service area in Haslet, Texas. ITSX switches the nearby BNSF auto ramp and the intermodal facility at ALLIANCE YARD. The locomotive had been built in April 1975 as SSW SD45T-2 9384 and became a Union Pacific loco when the UP merged with the SP in 1996. It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners (LLPX) on 18 August 1998, rebuilt by VMV at Paducah with a 16 cylinder, 3000-horsepower prime mover and was leased back to the UP as the 4923 in December 1998. It was renumbered 2864 on 23 April 2002 to make room for a new SD70M and was retired by UP on 31 May 2003, upon the expiration of its lease from LLPX. LLPX sold it to First Union Rail (FURX) and it was leased back to UP on 17 July 2003 as part of its peak power program until being retired (again) on 26 June 2008. |

This locomotive had been built as Ontario Northland 1736 in January 1974. It was sold to Progress Rail Services (PRSX) in 2005 and then to J&L Consulting (JLCX) in 2015 before going to ITSX. The 2847 in the background is a former Union Pacific SD40-2T and was originally an SP SD45T-2. |

The unit had been built in April 1970 as Southern Pacific 5321 and was sold in December 1986. It became Copper Basin Railway (CBRY) 302, then Helm (HLCX) 3950 and then Helm (HATX) 351. As the 351 it and sibling 5325 were as painted and lettered RIO GRANDE for use in the 1996 Paramount movie SWICHBACK. It became Andesite Rock & Gravel (ANDX) 4028, but it remained in the D&RGW paint scheme until 2006, when it became D&I Railroad (DAIR) 4028, and it went to ITSX in 2017. |
