Abandoned P&N Rail Depot |
| Description: |
This depot in Donalds, SC belonged to the Piedmont & Northern railroad and was located at MP 71.4 on its SC subdivision, which ran between Greenwood and Spartanburg. The rail line has been abandoned and the rails removed but this depot remains off Main Street in Donalds, very close to P&N Avenue. Although much of the P&N network continues to exist and has been absorbed by other shortlines, the line from Greenwood to Honea Path--which included Donalds--has long since been abandoned. |
