It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF), the Great Northern's successor. -From Wikipedia. This railcar was built in February 1963 and is now retired, which is why the numbers on it are blacked out. It is used for storage at the Buncher Railcar Services facility in Youngwood, Pa. |
