Eastbound autorack train Q216-14 using Track 2 Main for headroom at Greene Junction in South Connellsville, Pa. The EMD SD70ACe and SD40M-2 was like a double treat. I kept my fingers crossed that the sun would stay out long enough for this photo. Most of the time it was cloudy, windy, and raining on and off. Ten minutes later it was raining again. Update: #4850 was retired in 2017, and sold to Progress Rail. |

During the rebuild process they received this paint, new roller bearings, brake systems, 645 series power assemblies, traction motors, generators, electronics, controls, horns, and air conditioning. | Description: |
A loaded coal train going east on Track 4 siding is slowing to a stop near the South Connellsville Rod and Gun Club where the crew will get picked up by the taxi van you see in the right background. The temperature here was about 15 degrees with a wind chill worse than that. I had to wait several hours on top of a hill for a train to finally come. And luckily it was the fourth track just as I was hoping, to get the ideal photo position. I know you only see three tracks there. Its a long story. CSX 72 has now been repainted into the standard YN3/Dark Future paint scheme. |

| Description: |
Canadian-powered Q216 takes it slow on Track 2 Main going east out of Qouth Connellsville, Pa. CN 5627 is called an EMD SD75I and had a rather unique sound. I dont believe I've ever photographed one. IC 2460 C40-8W was built as LMSX 733 in October 1994, which explains the blue color. |
