Victim Of Arson
Title:  Victim Of Arson
Description:  The K&K Kane enginehouse was the victim of a believed arson attempt in the early morning hours of March 16, 2008. The two steam locomotives, Consolidation 38 and Mikado 58, as well as former Western Maryland chop nose GP9 39 suffered heavy damage from the fire. Hopefully this event won't hinder the Knox & Kane from rising from the ashes. No pun intended.

Description:  This is one of the three locos that got burnt in an enginehouse fire in Kane on March 16, 2008. Reports say that the fire was set after someone looted the building. This unit was sold at the auction to the Valley RR for $100,000.
