Description:  A nearly two hour long traffic lull is broken by 23M as it passes through town at 8:16AM. Although this train is only about 100 miles into its Elizabethport to Chicago journey, it has already dealt with some problems. The second and third units are dead and the leader is the only one running here. Luckily for the crew, 23M's consist is quite short today.

The lead unit is about to pass over the 29.9 hot box and dragging equipment detector. That cut off whistle post is a compositional blunder that I'd rather not repeat. (11:06AM)
