PRR 601, D-11A, c. 1890
Title:  PRR 601, D-11A, c. 1890
Description:  iLocomotives. Here is an image that was taken at the Passenger Station in Dunbar, Pennsylvania. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #601, a D-11A (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during July of 1886 and retired in July of 1907 after 21 years of faithful service. Given the presence of all those folks gathered at the Station, this may have been a special occasion of some sort. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded.

WMR Relic
Title:  WMR Relic
Description:  Found in the old WMR BoWest Yard, Dunbar, Pa. Abandoned since 1975. After a lot of thought, I have a theory that this is the top cut off from an oil barrel. But then it seems surprising that the barrel would have the name of the railroad right on it, along with a number. The mystery continues.
