Album Info:On my way home from Springfield, I stopped for a visit to the RMNE and the Naughatuck RR. I was treated to a personal tour of their museum, shops, and through their yard, where I was able to photograph their incredible historic collection of equipment.

Description:  An ALCO FA-1 in their collection. This unit is a treasure as it is a former New Haven unit, and the LAST FA1 produced by Alco. Plywood sheets are screwed to the sides to protect the body from corrosion and damage.
