Album Info:On the return trip from the New York Finger Lakes wine festival, we stopped by Berea, OH, early one morning to check it out. Many trainspotters have stood and taken similar photos of this very busy location so am just adding mine to the pile! The tower situated on a curve between the parallel CSX and NS tracks would be an great vantage point if allowed inside - maybe someday? The Berea Union Depot, built in 1876 from Berea sandstone and active until 1958, was restored as a restaurant in 1980, now for lease. It still retains its stylish grandeur along the CSX mainline. We have added Berea, OH, to our "return" list!
