Earlier today I was headed for Binghamton when I saw this train a couple miles north of Marathon, NY. I got turned around and set-up at a crossing in Preble and waited about 30 minutes......no train. I had some other business to take care of, and by the time I got back on "track", this is where I caught them at five past noon! They're crossing Jamesville-Apulia Rd. in the town of Fabius here. |

Here's the BH-1 going over US Rt.20 at 12:12 in an area known as "Big Bend" in LaFayette, NY; my alma mater! When I was very young I lived in a house just north of Onativia, I used to walk the cow paths through the pasture and up to the tracks to watch Erie-Lackawanna trains go by. |

I was heading for home on W. Fayette St. after chasing the BH-1 into Syracuse, when I saw this. I decided to get out and snap a few photos of another one of the new SD60's. I shot this at 13:07. This must be the southbound train that the local crew put together yesterday. |
