Album Info:The L&C Railroad is a privately owned, well-capitalized, financially strong, short line railroad based in Lancaster, SC, 35 miles south of Charlotte, NC. L&C Railroad provides customized, competitive rail freight service for their customers & connect them to the national rail network through both CSXT & NS. In December 2010, the L&C Railroad became part of Gulf & Ohio Railways, Inc. With over 115 years of continuous rail operations, the L&C Railroad provides South Carolina with a strong transportation ally for industrial growth. The Railroad serves over 4,000 acres of industrially zoned property which includes the Carolinas i-77 Megasite, located only 35 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
