Album Info:In this album we will see some of the many trains that traverse The UP Overland. This section also known as the Boone Sub is surrounded by a wonderful and scenic region of Iowa. I can only wonder how the Chicago Northwestern trains looked passing through here in real time. Thank you for the many that were able to photograph this region prior to the CNW/ UP merger.

The chase comes to a possible Historical ending
Title:  The chase comes to a possible Historical ending
Description:  In 2007 and all of 2008. I was in Nebraska. I always wanted a shot of the Cali Zephyr on the BNSF Hastings Sub. Though Amtrak 5 and 6 ran @ 2-3 am . I really never thought I would catch it preparing to cross the Kate Shelley Bridge. Myself and others have said could just be the last passenger train to cross the Kate Shelley proper.

Never Give Up!
Title:  Never Give Up!
Description:  As the saying on the Humpback Bridge reads, Never Give up. Though 1988,1996 and 1983 represent the Fallen we still show our pride ignoring the storm and rain in which Mother nature has thrown our way.

K G1LA-12 in Beautiful Missouri Valley
Title:  K G1LA-12 in Beautiful Missouri Valley
Description:  3 hours ago I got soaked waiting for this train at the Kate Shelley High Bridge near Boone,IA. Now that we have followed it across 1/2 of Iowa and are now in some sunshine. We find the rest of the Gang and await atop the Hwy 30 overpass. Mind you I was hungry and there was a McDonalds and a Arbys cooking away just a 1/4 mile from me. But I did not come this far for a stinking BigMac. I came this far for Heritage and ACe's
