Former EL depot. When I worked the Akron to Rittman local we would stop here to get our pickup orders for the cars the BO and later Chessie had transferred to us. Today it's a restaurant.

This former B&O station was moved from Fredericktown Ohio to this location. It houses a gift shop, deli, restaurant, specialty store and a bridal shop. The whole place is called Unusual Junction. On US 36. Cool place.

Description:  Serves as the Pufferbelly restaurant these days. Seen from Main St. bridge over both the Cuyahoga River and CSX main tracks. Both EL rails are still in place here and used by the Wheeling to service local industries.

The one time home of Railways of America.
Title:  The one time home of Railways of America.
Description:  It never served as an actual depot but was the entrance to the largest model railroad I ever saw. The entire building behind the depot was an "O" Gauge layout. It was owned and operated by a gent named Mack Lowry. In the mid to late 70s he moved his collection to Quaker Square, where it never near reached the enormity of this location. Today this building houses the Furniture Depot, Thanks to Cliff Stevens for permission to post these pics.
