Album Info:I headed out Tuesday morning for the BNSF's L-TWI601 and counterpart 602 jobs. These operate between Wilmar and Aberdeen, and at the time were running with two sets of three SD40-2's. After succesfully shooting the 602 (with four Dueces, two swooshes) and getting screwed by a Dash 9 on the head end of the 601, we called it a night at Appleton,MN. The next morning it was off to the DM&E's Huron Subdivision, and we catch up to the first train just before West of De Smet, SD. It would be another treat, 6 SD40-2's (one actually being an SD40-3). After shooting him a few times, it time to go grab the Eastbound at Tracy, which should be getting re-crewed shortly. After getting crewed and a fresh warrant from Dispatcher JJL, they were on the move with three DME/ICE SD40-2/SD40-3 units. That took us West once again, so enjoy the photos from a nearly perfect trip. (Anyone who is counting, the four trains that we shot accumulated 16 SD40-2/SD40-3's!)

Description:  And heres what I came for, but not FOUR! L-TWI602 heads up the grade wide open with a lashup that will probably never be recreated! The last unit was added at Aberdeen, for what reason I dont know. But a pair of Swooshes and two others, complete in the Front-Front-Back-Back formation, was just amazing!
