Description:  This is the old northbound signal bridge that governed the crossovers at Hudson, mp 413.7, south of Kings Mountain. Fortunattly, I got to ride under this thing on Amtrak's Crescent, but best of all, the N&W 611 excursions. It was replaced with the ugly mast "Darth Vader" or "Marge Simpson hairdo" signal as they have become known.

Description:  I worked for FedEx Ground for 8 years and never knew of them to ship by rail. Well, finally someone has figured it out! This was 3 out of about 9 FedEx Ground trailers on train 213. I wonder how long this has been going on? I hope it is something that will begin to happen more and more for that growing unit of FedEx, formerly RPS.

Description:  Train 750, the Belmont coal train, rolls off the S line from Asheville and onto the north leg of the wye at Salisbury. 750 is going to pull into the old yard to await a rested crew to take it south. Used to this train ran via Saluda and Hayne Yard in Spartanburg
