Title:  TP GP9M 109
Description:  TP 109 is the former Midland Valley 153. Built as a GP7 in 1953, it was involved in a collision at Bokoshe OK and rebuilt by EMD as a GP9M while retaining its original number (MV 153) and a new builders number. It eventually become TP 109 within the Missouri Pacific system. Not long after this picture was taken it was renumbered 1696 and survived until 1979. It's shown here on what used to be home rails, the former MV yard in Tulsa OK.

Description:  Frisco GP7 615 works the old Northeast Oklahoma (NEO) trackage in Miami OH while a thunderstorm approaches from the west. The steam generator stack has a nice crease in it. 615 would be sold to the ICG and be rebuilt into a "GP8" in that road's Paducah shops.

Description:  Rock Island received 20 GP40s from EMD in 1970 with the financial help of UP, which were numbered in the 4700 series in anticipation of a merger with the bigger road that never ocurred. They ended up going to the UP after the Rock's 1980 shutdown, 4705 becoming UP 636. It has since become MNA 4014.
