I am not sure if the Chattahoochee By had more train than they could handle or if they had locomotive trouble thereby needing an assist from the Bayline units. Interesting lashup anyway. |

The depot sits on the right, a gazebo in a grassy area, and a restored caboose accents the area. Unfortunately Amtrak service across the panhandle remains suspended since Hurricane Katrina caused much damage to trackage in Mississippi and Louisiana. While the track has been repaired and freight trains have resumed crossing the panhandle it is unclear when, or if, Amtrak service will resume in this area. |
