Album Info:Began as the Mount Lebanon Railroad in January 1854. It was renamed as the Cornwall Railroad in April 1870. It interchanged with the Reading at Lebanon and Mount Hope and with the Pennsylvania RR at Cornwall. It hauled raw iron ore and processed ore from Cornwall to Lebanon. In 1964 the line between Cornwall and Mount Hope was abandoned. The Reading purchased the line between Cornwall and Lebanon in 1966 and was authorized by the Interstate Commerce Comission to abandined the former Cornwall Railroad in 1968.
