Description:  Norfolk SoutherQ train No. 114 heads east on the BACK BELT at Shrewsbury Road behind Southern GP50 7039, N&W C30-7 8034, and NS C30-7 8062. The NS had just taken delivery of the train from the UP at the east end of the Huey P. Long Bridge, and it is on its way to Birmingham. The 8062 had just been repainted at Chattanooga three days earlier!

Description:  SP U33C 8689 lays over at NS Oliver Yard in New Orleans, LA. The locomotive was parked in a spot where an unobptructed photo was not possible. Knowing that I may never have another opportunity to photograph an SP U33C I took a few shots anyway! I am glad I did.
