Description:  The north bound Northlander just out of Toronto passes the base of the CN Tower, and the massive shops and roundhouse, which has since been removed. The cars are from the original train that was built in the Netherlands, with the unreliable power replaced with an EMD.

Description:  The Canadian is west bound on the CN at Coniston, Ont. It got as far as Sudbury (@5 miles from here) and a CN derailment stopped #1's progress west. It was then detoured over the CP. What a treat for the passengers to go over the north shore of Lake Superior, a scenic wonder for sure.
