Shades Of The OPUS Station?
Title:  Shades Of The OPUS Station?
Description:  Traffic on Crosstown compelled me to trade Fort Snelling for Bloomington Central on my latest trip downtown to see my mom at HCMC. As I stood waiting for this train, I thought of how this area resembles the plan for the Southwest LRT's OPUS campus station.

Silent Witness To The Milwaukee Road
Title:  Silent Witness To The Milwaukee Road
Description:  This and another angled building (out of view in this picture) stand by Cedar Riverside station. Their old, angled design is a clear indicator of how they have stood here since the glory days of steam on the Milwaukee Road's line to downtown Minneapolis. Now they witness the passage of LRT trains.

One More Ride
Title:  One More Ride
Description:  A northbound Blue Line arrives at 28th Street station late in the morning on Memorial Day 2015. I was only going as far as Amercian Boulevard station, where I would walk up to Ft. Snelling National Cemetery to thank vets and honor those who gave their lives for America. Then it would be back to American Boulevard and back to 28th Street, where my car was parked. At the end of my trip to the cemetery, I found out my mother was finally going to move from HCMC to a care facility in the suburbs, which meant my LRT rides today will be my last for awhile.

Title:  Northbound Blue Line Arriving In The Grain Elevator's Shadow
