Album Info:NJ Transit's 40th Anniversary is continued at Hoboken Station, Hoboken NJ (Hudson County). A static display of engines and passenger cars. Some of the engines and passenger cars were on the 40 th Anniversary Train from NYC to Bayhead, NJ shown in my first album for part 1 of NJ Transit's 40th Anniversary. Pictures for Part 2 of this album were taken on Sunday October 1,2023. A Meet The Fleet brochure, gives a description of each locomotive and passenger car at Hoboken, plus other related items. Additional pictures will be added in the future.

Description:  A tail end to cab view (engineer"s side) of NJT 4101 "NJDOT BlueBird". My first catch of this locmotive also done in NJDOT paint. This locmotive was was aprt of a 13 unit set purchased by the CNJ (Central of NJ RR) in 1968. This locmotive when it was CNJ wore the same paint as NJT 4109 partially seen to its left. .Spectators are viewing this locmotive.

Description:  A long hood to cab shot (fireman's side) of NJT 4109 CNJ heritage unit. This engine was repainted in Sept.2019 into "as delivered" in 1968. This engine was originally CNJ 3677GP40P. next to the 4109 is NJT 4101 NJDOT Bluebird and also built in 1968 and is of CNJ heritage. The frame is to show one of the CNJRR paint schemes of Blue and Yellow. NJT 4101 is in the NJ Dept. of trans[portation (NJDOT) paint scheme and Conrail was running passenger opreation prior to NJT taking over in 1983
