DMIR SD18 #193 - Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range
Title:  DMIR SD18 #193 - Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range
Description:  Built by EMD in 1960, DMIR #193 was the last of the nineteen SD18's ordered. By taking over the ore and freight traffic, this group helped to put the last DMIR steam locos out of service. Along in the late 1990's, it was sent to work on the Wisconsin Central line to pay off horsepower hours that had accrued between DMIR and WC. In May of 1998, it was finally donated to the Lake Superior RR Museum by DMIR. It is occasionally used on the North Shore Scenic tourist excursion.
