Description:  This magnificent 2-8-2 Mikado, CP #5262, actually started out in life as CP 2-8-0 Consolidation #3665 (serial #48873) but was rebuilt in October of 1949 into this Mikado. Specs - class P1n, 63" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" cylinders, engine weight of 271,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,927 lb.The loco was finally scrapped in April of 1959. J.R. Quinn photo

Specs - 63" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" cylinders, engine weight of 271,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,927 lb. The loco was scrapped in April of 1960. No date, location or photographer listed for the photo.

Specs - class P1n, 63" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" cylinders, engine weight of 271,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,927 lb. The loco lasted until February of 1964 before being scrapped.
