Album Info:Here are 56 photos that were taken along the Pennsylvania Railroad's Middle Division between Marysville and Altoona, Pennsylvania, during the years 1952-1966. Almost all of them were purchased via eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Tim Rose: one on 12 July 2020 and six on 24 August 2020. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), and the date are cited when specified on the slide mount. Most of the slide mounts are annotated "Al Roberts Collection."

Description:  MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken near Duncannon, Pennsylvania, in May of 1962. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7128 and two more "Geeps" whose road numbers are not recorded. All are EFS-17M's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7128 was built in June of 1957 and is presently in excursion service as Northern Central Railway number "7580" in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. They're about to pass the Duncannon Passenger Station with a string of empty hoppers on their way to Altoona and the coal mines of Western Pennsylvania. ("Stoneborobranch"; #51 of 56)

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7179, #7169, #7214, and another "Geep" whose road number is not recorded. All are EFS-17M's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7179 and #7169 were built in October of 1957, while #7214 was constructed in November of the same year. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9641, an unidentified EFS-17M, and #9509. All were built by GM-EMD. #9641 is an EF-15A built in March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in July of 1965. #9509 is an EF-15 built in April of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in May of 1962. They're about to pass the Duncannon Passenger Station with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to the Enola Yards. A minute portion of the Susquehanna River is visible at the far right. All were built by GM-EMD. #5865 is an EP-20 built in February of 1948 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. This A-A-A set will soon cross the Rockville Bridge and arrive in Harrisburg with a ten-car passenger train bound for New York City. ("Stoneborobranch"; #54 of 56)

All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9553 was built as an EH-15 in December of 1948, regeared and reclassified as an EF-15A, and retired in December of 1964 after just 16 years of revenue service.
