Album Info:Today Elkhart and Western made a rare Saturday move to Plymouth from Argos. I met up with Ethan to get some shots of this rare move and I was able to catch other stuff along the way and heading back home.

Description:  Today I received word off the Elkhart and Western Faccebook page that the crew would be making a rare Saturday run up to Plymouth and back to Argos to move some hot hopper cars. Naturally since I was doing nothing today, I decided to head up there myself to watch. Ethan got the same idea and he also went up as well. On the way up there I ended up shooting the westbound CFE junk freight at Arcola.

Description:  Unfortunately for me, spending time watching the CFE train was a bad idea, as when I arrived in Plymouth, the E&W train (crew symbol respectively known as R203) had already departed Plymouth and was beginning their trek south towards Argos. Thankfully I was able to get them before Argos crossing the US 31 crossing just southeast of Plymouth.

Description:  PREX 2045 trails dead on the rear end of the train. The engine died in Plymouth, and with that being said, the engine will also be taken to the Napoleon Defiance and Western in the coming future. One of the GP16s from there will come here in its place.

Title:  NS 7682 and NS 9860
Description:  After getting back onto US 30 and heading towards Fort Wayne, I could hear both NS 412 and NS 13J talking on the scanner. I decided to get off at the IN 14 exit on I69 to see what was going on. I went to the Hadley Road crossing and saw NS 13J waiting for NS 412 to come around them there. After about an 8 minute wait, the meet occurred, I took my pictures, and I called it a day. A fun day shooting some new stuff for me!
