CSSSB Passenger Car Blueprint for #35-39 |
Description: |
This is a blueprint for Chicago, South Shore & South Bend passenger cars #35-39 built by Standard Steel Car Company in May of 1929. These cars, along with Pullman Standard built cars, hauled thousands of riders for decades until the cars were finally replaced by newer ones in the 1980's. The new cars were built by Nippon Sharyo after the line was under the Northern Indiana Communter Transportation District (NICD). |
