Tank car train NS 65E is stopped on the Royce Running Track due to PTC (Positive Train Control) issues,. NS 211, Westbound on the Mainline (Lehigh Line). DSC= Double Stack Car, APSC= All Purpose Spine Car, Reporing marks source; RailServe 20187, and Piedmont & Western RR Club, RR Reporting marks Past & Present. Hillsborough Township, NJ is in Somerset County. 70-300mm telephoto lens used for some pictures.

Description:
NS 65 E is stopped westbound on the Royce Running Track, due to PTC (Positive Train Control problem). This train sat for a little over two hours before moving. This shot taken at approximately 11:10am . The grade crossing shown is Roycefield Road.

Able To Pick Up Speed Now.
Description:
NS 211 starts to pick up speed. I was changing form 70-300mm zoom to to 18-55mm lens and missed the lead engine for a close up shot. The eastbound signal here (red/Red) is a great indicator of approaching eastbound trains. 70-300mm telephoto lens used.

The vertical object is an Automatic Car ID Reader, there is another one fo thesee on the right side of the tracks
